Can you give me a repair estimate by phone?
HVAC systems are complicated machines, and we won’t be able to tell what is wrong until we take a look at your system and run diagnostic tests. We will come to your home, pinpoint the problem, and provide a customized estimate.
My system stopped blowing cold air. Doesn’t it just need Freon?
A system that has stopped blowing cold air could have many issues, and Freon is not the cure-all for a faulty air conditioning unit. In fact, Freon should last the lifetime of your HVAC. If not, it usually means there is some sort of leak. Call for assistance.
Do you charge for a service call?
Yes, but our minimum service fee is only $39. This allows a certified technician to travel to your home with all necessary equipment to find any repairs. After the problem has been found, they provide a price quote. If you accept our quote, the service fee is waived. If you decline, you will only be responsible for the minimum fee.
How can I tell if I need repairs on my HVAC system?
Any time your unit isn’t performing the way it used to, it’s time to call a professional for a diagnostic assessment. Every system has dozens of parts that could be loose, broken, or cracked, and attempting to handle it yourself could make the damage worse. Contact R&R Heating and Cooling to find the source of the problem, especially if there is an odd or burning smell, strange noises, or a decrease in air quality.
